Work Permit
Your trusted partner in foreign workforce compliance and application management
Singapore’s fast-paced economy depends on a diverse and skilled global workforce. To legally employ foreign staff, companies must ensure that each worker holds a valid Singapore Work Permit issued by the Ministry of Manpower (MOM).
However, the application process can be complex. Quotas, levies, source-country restrictions, and evolving regulations often make it difficult for businesses to stay compliant. That’s where People Puzzle Solutions APAC comes in — providing full-service Work Permit management designed to save time, reduce risk, and ensure compliance at every stage.
Understanding the Singapore Work Permit
Work Permits apply mainly to semi-skilled and skilled foreign workers in sectors such as construction, manufacturing, marine, process, and services.
Employers must comply with MOM’s conditions, including:
- Quota and Dependency Ratio Ceiling (DRC) limits
- Monthly levy payments for each Work Permit holder
- Approved source country requirements
Our experienced consultants are well-versed in all MOM policies, ensuring your applications are filed accurately and your company remains fully compliant with Singapore’s employment regulations.
End-to-End Work Permit Management
At People Puzzle Solutions APAC, we manage every part of the Work Permit lifecycle — from application to renewal and cancellation.
Our services include:

Our Work Permit Services
Before the Worker Arrives
To comply with MOM requirements, employers must complete the following before the worker’s arrival:
Purchase a security bond (where applicable)
Arrange medical insurance coverage for the foreign employee
Upon the Worker’s Arrival
After the worker enters Singapore, these steps must be completed before the Work Permit card is issued:
Register the worker’s local address via the Online Foreign Worker Address Service (OFWAS)
Arrange a medical examination with a registered clinic within two weeks of arrival
Schedule an appointment at the MOM Services Centre for fingerprinting and photo registration
Once completed, the physical Work Permit card is usually ready within four working days.
